Following up on their wildly popular food-themed footwear drops, designer Vandy Son reteams with ASICS to dish out a nostalgic, dessert-inspired runner: the VANDYTHEPINK x ASICS Gel-Kayano 12.1 "Chocolate." Drawing inspiration from South Korean "Aiseu-Keki" (vintage frozen ice cream treats sold by street vendors), this collaboration balances playful storytelling with serious retro-runner performance.

The sneaker's upper is built around a breathable waffle cone-patterned mesh base in rich chocolate brown, overlaid with reflective metallic silver cages and soft light-yellow accents along the midfoot tiger stripes. Thoughtful details are packed into every layer, including Hangul "VANDY" typography embroidered on the tongue, subtle branding on the eyelet stays, and VANDYTHEPINK's signature flower emblem hidden under the lateral heel overlay.
